ALWAYS go out in groups and stay together. Do not leave anyone behind when you leave a party or any social event. Even
CLOSING THE LOOP means that you never just assume someone is okay. If you have doubts call for help. Don’t send the person home in a cab or Uber. Closing the Loop means making sure they are taking care of, and staying to ensure their safety – full circle.
Campus Safety Tips
- Know your resources (i.e. health center, blue lights, campus escort system)
- Stay alert at all times and be aware of your surroundings
- Be careful about posting your location on social media
- Make others earn your trust
- Always have a back-up plan
- Use the buddy system
